The West Flanders-based transport and logistics provider Eutraco is now complementing the growth of its activities with the launch of its own customs agency. Due in part to Brexit, the demand for customs services continues to increase.

“It’s no secret that Eutraco, under the leadership of Serge Gregoir, has seen strong growth in its warehousing and transport activities in recent years,” says Edwin Ooms. “By launching our own customs agency, Eutraco and its clients are no longer dependent on third parties, allowing the company to serve even more as a one-stop shop. Clients have increasingly been requesting in-house customs services.”
Brexit
Brexit also plays a key role in this development. “Brexit has created a tight market in an increasingly complex customs environment. This is another area where we can now offer better support to our clients.”
Eutraco is not starting from scratch. “Our existing customers in the Global Solutions division, led by Koen Verhelst, already benefit from customs support. Clients in warehousing are also making use of our customs services, but of course, we’re also exploring how we can assist new customers,” Ooms adds.
