eTrucking at EUTRACO
At EUTRACO, we believe the future of logistics is electric.
Through our ambitious eTrucking initiatives, we are already taking concrete steps toward an emission-free fleet. In 2025, we began rolling out 50 Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 electric trucks, electrifying approximately 25% of our fleet.
This makes us the first Belgian logistics provider to operate such a substantial electric fleet.
This investment underscores how seriously we take sustainability: it is the strategic foundation of our transport offering.
Our electric trucks deliver an impressive range of approximately 500 km, making them ideal for long-distance routes without the need for intermediate charging.
By leveraging smart charging strategies and our own infrastructure at campuses in Roeselare, Ghent, and Willebroek, we maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
But we go even further: at these sites, we invest in solar energy and battery storage, ensuring that a significant portion of the power consumed by our e-trucks is generated locally and from renewable sources.
Our approach is clear: we don’t choose electric trucks because it’s a requirement, but because we want to offer our customers the most responsible logistics solution.

We collaborate with energy partners such as Luminus and Insaver to install ultra-fast charging stations, 3,500 solar panels, and battery systems across our sites.
These strategic partnerships ensure that our e-trucks not only drive sustainably but are also charged in an environmentally responsible way using locally generated green energy.
