Our ambition is clear: a net-zero carbon logistics footprint by 2033, with major progress already underway.

Carbon- and Energy Neutral Warehouses

In 2020, EUTRACO was the first in Belgium to build and operate a carbon and energy neutral Warehouse. This pioneering achievement was awarded Logistics Building of the Year 2021 and marked the start of a new chapter in our warehousing strategy. We keep on pushing to deliver sustainable warehousing to our customers:

By end 2025, over 60% of our total logistics footprint will be carbon and energy neutral.

Currently, we operate 700,000 m² of warehouse space, with an additional 300,000 m² of sustainable warehouse developments in execution. By 2033, all older facilities will be phased out and replaced with net-zero buildings, either new or completely renewed.

All new buildings developed since 2020 meet the BREAAM standards for sustainable construction.

Smart & Automated Warehousing

At EUTRACO we invest in cutting-edge technology to make our warehousing not only greener, but also smarter. Sustainability meets Operational excellence.

Our Warehouse Management System (WMS) helps order fulfilment, consolidation and distribution for full pallet business to complex piece pick operations internationally. — key drivers for an efficient and sustainable supply chain.
Fully Automated Warehousing, with no touch handling capabilities or single touch handling capabilities, taking into account the fill rate of a truck and the different pallet load orientations needed to secure the load safely and qualitatively. Creating one of the most advanced and efficient logistics operations in the region.
Combining warehousing on strategic locations with intermodal & fast charging capabilities for electrical trucks between the customers and our sites. Enabling us to provide our customers with near zero emission supply chain flows. By end 2025, one-third of our transport fleet will be electrical, with fast charging capabilities on our sites.

We provide real-time CO₂ dashboards per customer, based on highly detailed transaction-level data — offering full transparency into their logistics emissions.
