The Whistleblower Directive is a European directive that has been transposed into Belgian legislation. Europe aims to make it easier for whistleblowers to report various wrongdoings within a company. The Whistleblower Directive establishes minimum standards, both regarding reporting channels and the protection of whistleblowers against retaliation.
